The all-time leading rebounder in NDSU women's basketball history, Lori was also the leading scorer in Bison history with 1,657 points when she departed in 1982. Lori helped the Bison women to a fourth-place national finish in 1982 when she was named to the AIAW (Association Intercollegiate Athletics for Women) all-tournament team. She averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds per game during the championship tournament as NDSU recorded a 22-10 record in '82, the best in school history to that point. Knetter was NDSU's first women's basketball All-American, selected to the 1982 American Women's Sports Federation (AWSF) first team. She was a three-time AIAW All-Region VI first team and two-time NCC all-tourney selection. A native of Lakota, N.D., she was a two-time all-state player in high school. A 1982 graduate of NDSU, Lori has been working with the USDA-Farm Service Agency since 1986.
