FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State University today announced all 11 regular-season football games will have HD television coverage in 2015 beginning with the Aug. 29 season-opener at Montana on ESPN in the second annual FCS Kickoff.
Nine games will be available on ESPN3 and statewide on the NBC affiliates, which includes KVLY channel 11 in Fargo and Grand Forks, KFYR channel 5 in Bismarck, KMOT channel 10 in Minot, KQCD channel 7 in Dickinson, KUMV channel 8 in Williston.
NDSU's game at Indiana State on Oct. 24 is designated as the Missouri Valley Football Conference Game of the Week and will be televised as part of the league's eight-game package to be announced.
Each football game will feature a 60-minute pregame show that will air statewide on the NBC affiliates.
Brian Shawn will return this fall to handle the play-by-play for NBC North Dakota. He will be joined in the booth by KFYR sports director Lee Timmerman. KVLY sports director Beth Hoole will report from the sidelines.
"The Bison Football Show" will air LIVE statewide Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on KXJB-TV (CBS, channel 4) in Fargo and Grand Forks, and KFYR, KMOT, KQCD and KUMV in western North Dakota. The show is produced in HD and hosted by
Jeremy Jorgenson, NDSU's director of sales and broadcasting.
Replays of The Bison Football Show will air Sunday nights on KVLY after the late local news. Midco Sports Network will run the show Thursdays at 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and Fridays at 2:30 p.m.
