MINNEAPOLIS - The five-time defending national champion North Dakota State football team will be recognized prior to this Saturday afternoon's baseball game between the Minnesota Twins and Tampa Bay Rays at Target Field.

The NDSU players will be introduced before the game and will be accompanied by the five NCAA trophies and a highlight video on the stadium's video boards.  Head coach Chris Klieman will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Game time is 3:10 p.m. and gates open two hours early.  The first 20,000 fans receive a Twins cap presented by DQ.  For ticket information, visit TwinsBaseball.com.

Fans can also mark their calendars for NDSU Night at Target Field on Tuesday, Aug. 9, when the Twins host the Houston Astros at 7:10 p.m.  Custom yellow and green NDSU Twins caps will be available for fans with a valid NDSU ticket package.
