Statewide television and radio coverage continues for North Dakota State University football in 2016 with several viewing and listening options for all 11 contests home and away.
Television
The Bison return to national TV for the 15th time since 2011 when ESPN televises the Aug. 27 season opener against Charleston Southern at 6:30 p.m. Â Either ESPN or ESPN2 will carry the Iowa game on Sept. 17 beginning at 11 a.m. Â Both games will be available online through participating television providers on WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app.
KVLY-TV and the NBC North Dakota network will carry the remaining nine football games statewide in high definition on KVLY channel 11 in Fargo and Grand Forks, KFYR channel 5 in Bismarck, KMOT channel 10 in Minot, KQCD channel 7 in Dickinson, KUMV channel 8 in Williston.
Every KVLY broadcast will be available nationwide on ESPN3 through participating Internet service providers on WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app.
KVLY's broadcast team includes Brian Shawn play-by-play, Lee Timmerman color analyst, and Beth Hoole reporting from the sidelines. Â KVLY's hourlong pregame show will be hosted by Ryan Gellner and Alex Egan.

Football radio broadcasts will be heard in Fargo-Moorhead and inside the Fargodome on 107.9 The Fox and more than 20 stations across North Dakota and Minnesota on the
Peterson Farms Seed Bison Radio Network. Â Jeff Culhane is the new play-by-play voice of the Bison after spending the previous nine years on broadcast teams at Nebraska and West Virginia. Â NDSU and Buffalo Bills Hall of Famer Phil Hansen returns as color analyst and NDSU's
Jeremy Jorgenson remains as the sideline reporter.
Game day broadcasts along the entire
Peterson Farms Seed Bison Radio Network include a 30-minute pregame show and 30-minute postgame show. Â Extended coverage locally on 107.9 The Fox includes "Bison Game Day" starting 2 1/2 hours before kickoff, and "Bison Hotline" for 2 hours after the postgame show with hosts Keith Brake and Christian Dudzik taking phone calls.
