2018 Schedule
FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State University head baseball coach
Tod Brown announced on Wednesday, Oct. 18, the team's 2018 schedule, which includes a series at Arizona and a contest against Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium.
NDSU opens Feb. 16-18 with a three-game series at Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, before traveling to Port Charlotte, Fla., to play a trio of games against Central Connecticut State in the Snowbird Baseball Classic Feb. 23-25.
The Bison face the Golden Gophers of Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Feb. 27 prior to trekking to Greeley, Colo., to play a four-game series at Northern Colorado March 2-4.
North Dakota State heads to Tucson, Ariz., March 9-11 for a three-game series at the University of Arizona. NDSU will remain in Tucson for a game against Dickinson State March 12.
The Bison wrap up their non-league road slate with a contest at Minnesota's Siebert Field against the Golden Gophers April 10.
The double round-robin Summit League schedule begins March 16, consisting of a pair of three-game series among the six Summit League teams.
NDSU will have five road and five home three-game series in league action.
The Bison play at Western Illinois (March 16-18), Fort Wayne (March 23-25), Oral Roberts (March 30-April 1), South Dakota State (April 13-15) and Omaha (April 27-29).
North Dakota State will host Omaha (April 6-8), Western Illinois (April 20-22), Oral Roberts (May 4-6), Fort Wayne (May 11-13) and South Dakota State (May 17-19) at Newman Outdoor Field.
NDSU's home opener is slated for Tuesday, April 3, against the University of Mary.
The Bison are also scheduled to host non-league contests against Valley City State (April 17), Dakota State (April 25), Mayville State (May 1) and Concordia-Moorhead (May 7).
The top four teams from the regular season will advance to The Summit League championship May 23-26 in Tulsa, Okla. The winner of the double-elimination tournament will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
NDSU finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 31-25 and won a program-record 19 Summit League games.
