Beach Invitational Results
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The North Dakota State women's track & field team concluded four days of competition in southern California with several impressive performances at the Beach Invitational on Saturday.

Senior
Alexis Woods (Parshall, N.D.) ran the second-fastest outdoor 400m of her career to take third place – a season-best 54.06. Freshman
Alyssa Lind (Bloomington, Minn.) continued to cut time in the 400m dash, running a season-best 56.42 that ranks second in The Summit League.

Junior
Annika Rotvold posted a time of 4:26.65 in the 1500m to finish third among collegians at Long Beach State. Rotvold has now run 4:24, 4:26 and 4:28 in the past three weeks – all times which would rank her in the top seven in NDSU history. Freshman
Peyton Frolek added a strong time of 4:39.49 in her 1500m debut.

Courtney Pasiowitz, ranked among the NCAA's top 30 this year in the shot put, finished sixth among collegians with a throw of 50-10.25 (15.50m). Sophomore
Bailey Retzlaff took 12th with a mark of 49-11.75 (15.23m), and sophomore
Maggie Schwarzkopf was 14th at 49-06.50 (15.10m).

Piper Jensen, the Summit League leader in the long jump, led the Bison women in the event Saturday, going 19-06.75 (5.96m) for seventh place in the meet. She also came within one centimeter of her outdoor triple jump PR at 40-07.50 (12.38m).

Daejha Moss jumped a personal-best 19-03.25 (5.87m) in the long jump for 10th place and cleared an outdoor-best 5-05.00 (1.65m) in the high jump.

Lauren Gietzen took 12th place in the pole vault with a clearance of 13-03.50 (4.05m).

Katie Bostrom notched her second personal-best of the weekend, running 2:12.10 in the 800m. Senior
Gabby Grommesh recorded a season-best 100m dash time of 12.13.

Jaelin Beachy ran the second-fastest 100m hurdles time of her career, finishing in 14.77, and Bison junior
Dakota Wood clocked a season-best 14.94.
