Bison Football Completes First Spring Practice Session

FARGO, N.D.--With temperatures in the high 50s and under partly cloud skies, North Dakota State University football completed its first spring practice Saturday, March 24, on Dacotah Field.

"It was a good first day," said NDSU head coach Craig Bohl. "I've never been out here to start spring football with some guys in shorts and with no snow on the ground."

North Dakota State spent a productive and efficient first practice getting the offensive, defensive and kicking game systems into place.

"It's a new year and I think we have the makings of a good football team. We have a lot of work ahead of us," said Bohl.

"We need to understand what we are doing and start to sort out positions. Certainly, by double-repping, we're getting a lot of activity and we certainly need that."

North Dakota State's second spring practice is scheduled for Monday, March 26.
