Border States congratulates Payton Otterdahl, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Otterdahl, a senior from Rosemount, Minn., has a 3.263 GPA in health and physical education. Otterdahl was named Summit League Athlete of the Week after winning the weight throw with a school-record mark of 77 feet, 8 1/4 inches (23.68m) at the Thundering Herd Classic. He added seven inches to his previous school record and ranks No. 1 in the NCAA in the weight throw this season.
