Border States congratulates Payton Otterdahl, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Otterdahl, a senior from Rosemount, Minn., has a 3.263 GPA in education. Nobody in the history of collegiate athletics has ever thrown the indoor shot put further than Otterdahl. North Dakota State's all-world senior broke the all-time collegiate record at the Summit League Championships on Saturday, throwing 71-06.75 (21.81m) for the win. He is now the 17th-best performer in world history in the indoor shot put.
