Border States congratulates Maddie Hansen, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Hansen, a senior catcher from Ely, Iowa, has a 3.690 GPA in sport management. She hit 4-for-10 (.400) to help NDSU to a four-game weekend split at the Stanford Nike Invitational. Hansen has made all 17 starts for the Bison this year and is hitting .280 with a team-high five home runs and 12 RBIs.
