Border States congratulates Jayse McLean, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
McLean, a junior outfielder from Great Falls, Mont., collected three hits and a pair of runs batted in during NDSU's three-game series at Arizona. He hit a two-run double in Friday's opener and went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored in Sunday's finale.
McLean, who sat out the 2017 season with an injury, has a team-high 11 runs scored and is NDSU's second leading hitter this year with a .291 batting average through 16 games. A two-time Summit League Distinguished Scholar, he has a 4.0 GPA in engineering.
