All-conference in both volleyball and softball for North Dakota State during her four-year career. Helped the Bison to three state titles and one trip to the AIAW national tournament in volleyball. Her Bison teams won two state titles in softball. Established several school records in softball.

Served three years as athletic director and volleyball and softball coach for Queen of Heaven School (1982-85) where her teams lost one match in volleyball and went undefeated in softball. Commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, serving as captain and is the Chief of Military Personnel at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
