One of NDSU’s finest, competing and earning all-star honors in football and basketball. He was the president of the senior class of 1926. He then attended the National Recreation School in New York City, working in recreation in New York and New Jersey. Employed by the New York State Department of Social Welfare for five years before accepting a position with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1936. He remained with Metropolitan Life until he retired in 1967.
