One of the most versatile athletes in Bison history, Rorvig accumulated three freshman and eight varsity awards between 1934-39 while competing in football, basketball and track. He captained the 1937-38 team and was named all-conference his senior year. Rorvig was co-founder of the NDSU Team Makers club in 1950 and served as president of the booster organization for three terms. He operated a real estate firm in Fargo.
