A 1928 NDSU graduate, she was a standout member of five athletic teams during her college days in basketball, bowling, baseball, soccer and rifle. A member of the Women’s Athletic Association, she was a charter member of Delta Psi Kappa, the honorary physical education sorority. Her son, Robert, was a Bison athletic standout and a member of the Hall of Fame's class of 1974.
