One of the most versatile athletes in Bison history, Blakeslee earned nine letters over his three-year varsity career, including three in football, three in track, two in hockey and one in basketball. In his senior year, he captained the track squad. He was a two-time NCC champion in the pole vault and set a league record of 12 feet, 2 1/2 inches in 1930.
