Growing up in Saint Kitts and Nevis, she made her first national team at age 13 and later competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where she anchored the 4x400 relay in her country’s first Olympic appearance...Arrived at NDSU in 1997 and became a 16-time All-American, including a national championship as the anchor of the 4x400 indoor relay team in 2002, which helped the Bison claim the NCAA Division II indoor national title...Had four national runner-up finishes in her career: the 400-meter dash indoors and outdoors in 2002, the 4x400 relay outdoors in 2002, and the 4x400 relay indoors in 2000....Also had three third-place finishes...14-time North Central Conference champion including eight relays (4x100 and 4x400) and the 400 meters...Member of seven NCC championship teams (three indoor, four outdoor)...Graduated with the Bison Sports Arena indoor record of 24.62 seconds in the 200 meters...Set indoor school records in the 400 meters (:54.58), 4x400 relay (3:41.58) and 200 meters (:24.30)...Set outdoor school records in the 200 meters (:23.94), 400 meters (:53.43), 4x200 relay (1:41.01), 4x400 relay (3:38.54) and sprint medley relay (3:56.89)...A three-time All-Academic honoree, she completed a master’s degree in education and works as a physical education teacher.
