Box Score FARGO, N.D. - Jordan Aaberg had career highs of 15 points and 11 rebounds off the bench and North Dakota State beat South Dakota 82-59 in Summit League men's basketball Saturday, Jan. 14, before a season-high crowd of 4,070 at the Bison Sports Arena.
Taylor Braun had a game-high 16 points for North Dakota State, which improved to 13-4 overall and 6-2 in the league with its ninth straight home win. Marshall Bjorklund had 12 points and TrayVonn Wright added 10 points and eight rebounds.
NDSU led 32-27 at halftime and started the second half on a 20-3 run capped by an Aaberg layup that made it 52-30 with 14 minutes left in the game. Aaberg had 13 of his 15 points in the second half. It was his first career double-double.
Trevor Gruis had 15 points, Jordan Boots scored 13 points and Ricardo Andreotti grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds for the Coyotes, who dropped to 6-11 overall and 1-7 in the league.
North Dakota State is scheduled to play North Dakota at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks. UND is 7-9 after a 69-46 win over Valley City State on Thursday.
