FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State track and field teams will open the 2012-13 indoor season by hosting the Dakota Duals in the Bison Sports Arena on Friday, Dec. 7. Field events will begin with the long jump at 7 p.m., and running events will get underway at 8 p.m.
North Dakota State will be joined by South Dakota State, the University of North Dakota and the University of Mary in the season-opening meet. Dual scoring will be used.
The meet will also feature a Mini-Bison 60m dash open to boys and girls ages 10 and under, as well as a one mile fun run open to all ages.
The Bison women are the preseason favorite to win a sixth-consecutive Summit League indoor title, while the NDSU men are favored to win their fifth league title in six seasons.
