MOORHEAD, Minn. – The North Dakota State wrestling team had two unattached wrestlers win championships at the Dragon Open hosted by Minnesota State Moorhead on Saturday, Dec. 7. Redshirting sophomore

Mitch Bengtson claimed the 133 and 141-pound titles, respectively.
Both wrestlers posted 4-0 records on the day. Rodriguez won all four of his matches by major decision, including a 14-5 major decision over Minnesota's Nathaniel Thomas in the final. Bengtson recorded one fall, one major decision and two decisions on the way to his championship, defeating MSUM's Angel Vega by 4-3 decision in the final.
Unattached freshman
Clay Ream took fifth place at 157 pounds, going 4-1 on the day.
Cole Sladek placed sixth at 149 pounds.
