Wednesday's Game: The North Dakota State men's basketball team (4-2 overall) will travel to take on Southern Mississippi (3-2 overall) of Conference USA on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. CT inside Reed Green Coliseum (capacity 8,095) in Hattiesburg, Miss. The Bison carry a four-game winning streak into Wednesday's game at Southern Miss.

About Southern Miss: The Golden Eagles are 3-2 this season with home wins over NAIA William Carey University, South Alabama and Troy and road losses to Alabama and Drexel. Southern Miss posted a 29-7 record in 2013-14 and made its second straight appearance
in the NIT Quarterfinals, but USM lost seven letterwinners and gained nine newcomers leading into this year.
Dating back to the 2008-09 season, Southern Miss has won 37 straight home non-conference regular season games. The Golden Eagles will bring an 18-game home winning streak into Wednesday's game.
Doc Sadler is in his first year as Southern Miss' head coach, replacing Donnie Tyndall who moved on to Tennessee after last season.

The Series: Southern Miss won the only meeting between the two schools -- a 70-69 triumph in Fargo on Nov. 18 last season.

Radio: Scott Miller will call the play-by-play on KFGO-AM 790 of Fargo. Coverage includes 20-minute pregame and postgame shows. Free audio streaming will be available at GoBison.com/allaccess.

Taking Care: NDSU is averaging just 6.7 turnovers over its last three games.

Stat Sheet Stuffer: In his last three games, sophomore guard Carlin Dupree has a 14-to-4 assist-to-turnover ratio while averaging 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals. Dupree filled the stat sheet in NDSU's 72-51 win at Montana State on Nov. 30 with a season-high 10 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Five Starters in Double-Digits: All five NDSU starters reached double-digits in scoring in the 72-51 win at Montana State on Nov. 30. It was the first game this season where the five regular Bison starters played more than 13 minutes on the floor together.

The Mayor Goes Downtown: A.J. Jacobson connected on a career-best five three-pointers in NDSU's victory over Montana State. Jacobson made four treys in the first eight minutes of the second half and finished with 15 points.

Grabbing Boards: Sophomore forward Dexter Werner grabbed eight rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench at Montana State. His three offensive rebounds contributed to a 19-7 advantage in second-chance points for the Bison.

Outside Shot: With an 11-of-23 effort from beyond the arc on Nov. 30 at Montana State, the Bison have now made double-digit three-pointers in three of their first six games. NDSU shot a season-best 50 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from three-point range.

Big Swing: The Bison have seen a significant difference in their offensive production between their first two games and next four games. NDSU shot 27 percent from the field in their games at No. 10 Texas and No. 25 Iowa to open the year, but the Bison have bounced back to shoot 45.3 percent from the field and 44.0 percent from beyond the arc during their current four-game win streak.

Jacobson Keys Win Streak: Over the current four-game win streak, redshirt freshman A.J. Jacobson is leading NDSU with 15.0 points per game. The Fargo native is shooting 55.3 percent overall and 55.0 percent (11-of-20) from three-point range during the streak.

Half-Dozen Blocks: NDSU sophomore forward Dexter Werner registered a career-high six blocks in NDSU's win over Minnesota-Crookston on Nov. 25, tying him for the second-most in a game in school history. It was the most blocks by a Bison since Jordan Aaberg also recorded six against Green Bay in 2009.
Werner also tallied a career-best 15 points in the victory over Minnesota-Crookston.

Floor General: Lawrence Alexander is averaging 38.0 minutes per contest in NDSU's first six games. Over 104 career games, Alexander has averaged 34.5 minutes – second only to Ben Woodside among all Bison players since 1999.

Dishing It Out: Lawrence Alexander's 364 career assists rank him No. 6 all-time at NDSU.

Stepping Up: With five three-pointers through his first five games, junior forward Chris Kading has already surpassed his output from beyond the arc last season.

Miller Nets 17 Twice: Freshman guard Paul Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) poured in 17 points in both of NDSU's home games on Nov. 21-22. Miller earned his first career start vs. Hampton on Nov. 22 with junior Kory Brown missing the game due to an undisclosed injury.

Wins Leaderboard: Lawrence Alexander needs to play in 12 more NDSU victories to become the winningest player in school history. Alexander has 71 wins as a Bison. Mike Felt (2009-14) owns the NDSU record with 82 career wins.

Good Company: With 89 points in his first six games, Alexander has moved into 20th all-time at NDSU with 1,220 career points. He had 1,131 points through his junior season -- the most by a Bison since the trio of Mike Nelson, Brett Winkelman and Ben Woodside in 2008.
