Lauren Miller scored two goals including the game-winner with 10:07 left in the second half to lift North Dakota State University to a 2-1 win over the University of Northern Colorado on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Jackson Stadium. The match was interrupted with a lightning delay early in the second half

North Dakota State (4-0-0) is scheduled to host Iowa State (2-2-0) at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 at Dacotah Field. The Bison have won four straight matches to start the season for the first time since 2005.

Miller, a 5-foot-9 sophomore from St. Louis Park, Minn., netted the game winner at 79:53 when
Amy Yang passed to her teammate after dribbling into the Northern Colorado goal box.

Miller scored all four goals on the two-game Colorado road trip and pushed her season total to seven. Yang registered her team-high fourth assist in four games.

The match was scoreless through the first 65 minutes until Miller scored her first goal at 65:09.
Anisha Kinnarath worked her way down the center of the field and found Miller, who deposited the ball into the net.

Just 19-seconds later, Northern Colorado (1-3-0) answered and tied the match at 1-1 when Essence Ortiz-Laneir scored on a penalty kick.

Northern Colorado outshot the Bison 12-7 and held a 5-3 edge in shots on goal.
Sierra Bonham made four saves for NDSU, while Kaitlin Ruff had one save for the Bears. Corner kicks were tied at 2-2.
