Paul Miller scored a career-high 27 points, and the North Dakota State men's basketball team poured in 50 in the second half to earn a 77-56 win over North Carolina A&T at Scheels Arena on Saturday afternoon.

NDSU improved to 4-1 on the season with the victory. The Bison have now won 28 straight home games.

North Carolina A&T (0-7 overall) scored the first 12 points of the game and led 20-5 midway through the first half. The Bison responded with a 14-0 run of their own over the next five minutes to pull within one at 20-19.

The Aggies held a 28-27 edge at halftime, but NDSU took the lead for the first time following back-to-back three-pointers by
Malik Clements and Miller in the first two minutes of the second half.

The Bison outscored North Carolina A&T 50-28 in the second half.

For NDSU, sophomore
A.J. Jacobson scored 17, junior
Dexter Werner scored 11, and Clements had 10 points. Werner also posted seven rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes, while going a perfect 5-for-5 shooting.

As a team, NDSU tallied a season-best 17 assists and only eight turnovers. Junior guard
Carlin Dupree matched his career-high with six assists. Freshman
Khy Kabellis had five assists and no turnovers for the Bison.

The Bison shot 46 percent for the contest and limited North Carolina A&T to 38-percent shooting.

NDSU will travel to Ames, Iowa, to take on No. 4-ranked Iowa State on Tuesday, Dec. 1.Â
