SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Delaware Blue Hens defeated the North Dakota State University women's basketball team, 62-50, on Sunday, Nov. 29, in the San Diego State University Thanksgiving Classic at Steve Fisher Court at Viejas Arena.
With the loss, the Bison fall to 2-4 overall, while Delaware improves to 3-2.

Marena Whittle led NDSU with a double-double, scoring 23 points and snagging 10 rebounds, while junior
Brianna Jones posted a double-double for the second consecutive game, pulling down a game-high 14 boards to go along with 10 points.
North Dakota State shot 33 percent from the floor in the contest, going 21-for-63, but failed to convert a three-pointer for the second straight game, going 0-for-8 from beyond-the-arc. NDSU outrebounded Delaware, 52-32, but committed 16 turnovers which led to 15 Blue Hen points.
The Bison outscored the Blue Hens in the paint, 30-16.
Hannah Jardine paced Delaware with 23 points on 9-for-11 shooting from the field, including a 5-for-7 performance from three-point range.
The Blue Hens went 23-for-63 from the floor for 37 percent and 9-for-20 from long range for 45 percent and only turned the ball over five times.
North Dakota State is scheduled to travel to Kent State on Saturday, Dec. 5, for a 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT) non-conference game.
