Jacobson scored his 17 points on only nine shots from the field, going 3-of-6 from three-point range and tacking on a perfect 6-of-6 at the free throw line.

NDSU never trailed in the contest, jumping out to a 16-2 lead in the first five minutes. The Bison pushed their lead to 20 at halftime on a buzzer-beating three-pointer by sophomore transfer
Malik Clements that made the margin 48-28.

The Bison shot 53 percent from the floor and limited the Marauders to 33-percent shooting.

Kory Brown led NDSU with five rebounds apiece. Brown topped all players with four assists.
