PDF Box Score

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team cruised to a 105-47 victory over Northland College (Wis.) in its final non-conference game on Wednesday evening at Scheels Arena.

NDSU will enter conference play with a record of 10-4 – the third time in the last four seasons that the Bison have registered double-digit wins before New Year's Day.

The win was NDSU's 30th straight at home, extending the sixth-longest active home winning streak in Division I basketball.

Six Bison players scored in double figures to key the offensive explosion. Freshman forward Dylan Miller scored a season-high 19 points and also tallied a season-best nine rebounds to lead NDSU. Freshman point guard Khy Kabellis and sophomore A.J. Jacobson both added 16 points, with Jacobson shooting 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.

Malik Clements chipped in 12 points, redshirt freshman Spencer Eliason tallied a season-high 11, and Dexter Werner added 10 for NDSU.

NDSU made 17 of its first 19 shots after halftime, shooting nearly 90 percent for the first 12 minutes of the second half. The Bison shot a season-best 59.5 percent for the game and posted an astounding 57-18 rebounding advantage. NDSU had 24 offensive rebounds, led by six apiece from Dylan Miller and Werner.

It was NDSU's first game with 100-plus points since scoring 103 in a win over Mayville State on Nov. 20, 2010. NDSU's 24 offensive rebounds were the most since grabbing 25 in a win at South Dakota State on Dec. 4, 2010.

Junior Carlin Dupree tied his career-high with six assists, and senior Kory Brown returned after missing two games to dish out five assists. Neither had a turnover.

NDSU will open Summit League play on Sunday, Jan. 3, at Scheels Arena. The Bison men take on Denver at 1 p.m., followed by the NDSU women vs. South Dakota State at 4 p.m.
