FORT WAYNE, Ind.—
Jacquelyn Sertic tossed a four-hit shutout and
Cheyenne Garcia and
Maritza Lopez-Portillo each scored three runs as North Dakota State University blanked Fort Wayne 13-0 in five innings on Sunday, April 19, to complete the Summit League softball series sweep.

NDSU (35-7, 13-2 Summit League) is scheduled to play at No. 10/13 Minnesota (36-7) on Wednesday, April 22, and travel to No. 22 South Alabama (32-7) for a three-game series April 24-25 in Mobile.

North Dakota State scored in every inning against the Mastodons (3-37, 2-13 Summit League) including a five-run fifth inning. The Bison hit .477 in the series and outscored Fort Wayne 41-0.

Alex Sobrero went 3-for-4 and Lopez-Portillo laced a pair of doubles to pace NDSU's 12-hit attack, as the Bison also took advantage of seven Fort Wayne errors during the contest.
Amanda Grable, Garcia and Sobrero each had two RBI, while Garcia and Lopez-Portillo both scored three runs.

Grable finished series hitting .700 (7x10) and led five players over .500 with Lopez-Portillo (.667),
Katie Shoultz (.625), Garcia (.545) and
Logan Moreland (.500) rounding out the group. Garcia scored eight runs and had six RBI over the three-game set. Moreland extended her current hitting streak to 14 games.

Sertic (10-5) recorded her second shutout of the season against Fort Wayne. She struck out six and issued no walks.
Krista Menke and Sertic didn't walk a batter over 16 innings during the weekend and allowed five hits.
