FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team shot 50 percent from three-point range and had five players score in double figures on the way to a 92-62 victory over Minnesota Morris on Sunday evening at the Scheels Center.
NDSU improved to 2-0 on the season. Juniors
A.J. Jacobson and
Paul Miller both scored 18 points to lead the Bison. Jacobson set a career-high with four blocks.
Redshirt freshman forward
Deng Geu came off the bench to tally 15 points for NDSU, and
Khy Kabellis and
Carlin Dupree chipped in 13 and 11 points, respectively.
The Bison shot 50 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc, connecting on 9-of-18 treys in the game. Jacobson was 4-of-5 from downtown.

Tyson Ward posted five rebounds and four assists.
NDSU led 17-15 nearly eight minutes into the contest before freshman
Jared Samuelson scored his first collegiate points with a three-pointer to ignite a 14-2 Bison run. NDSU stretched the margin to 20 points at 51-31 at halftime.
Minnesota Morris never led in the game. The Bison led by as many as 34 late in the second half.
The Bison will travel to High Point, N.C., this coming week to play three games against Navy, UNC Greensboro and High Point University on Nov. 18-20.
