SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The North Dakota State University women's basketball team fell to Central Michigan, 77-55, in the Cal Poly #ShareSLO Beach Classic on Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Mott Athletics Center in San Luis Obispo, California.
With the setback, the Bison fall to 1-5 overall while Central Michigan improves to 4-2 on the season.

Taylor Thunstedt scored 15 points and went 5-for-10 from three-point range to lead NDSU, while senior
Brianna Jones snagged a team-high six rebounds. Freshman
Sarah Jacobson and senior
Emily Spier both scored 10 points, with Jacobson also dishing out a team-best five assists.
The Bison shot 33 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range, and were outrebounded by the Chippewas in the contest, 43-32.
Central Michigan also outscored NDSU in the paint, 48-20.
The Bison trailed 35-25 at the start of the third quarter before the Chippewas used a 10-2 run from 9:50 to 6:24 to go in the stanza to seize a 20-point advantage. NDSU could not get any closer than 16 points the remainder of the contest.
Tinara Moore led the Chppewas in scoring for the game, tallying 20 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field. Moore also pulled down 11 rebounds for the double-double. Presley Hudson also posted a double-double, dishing out 12 assists while scoring 11 points.
Reyna Frost compiled Central Michigan's third double-double of the game, netting 18 points while snagging a game-high 15 boards.
CMU shot 54 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond-the-arc in the game.
North Dakota State is scheduled to host Western Michigan Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Scheels Center. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. The game will be televised live on MidcoSN, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
