FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's soccer team saw its season come to an end Thursday afternoon at Dacotah Field, as the top-seeded Bison fell 2-0 to Oral Roberts in the semifinal round of the Summit League Tournament.

The Bison finished the season with a record of 10-8-1.

Oral Roberts took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute when Lexi Jones gained possession and slid the ball past NDSU goalkeeper
Monica Polgar. Brittney Lawrence tacked on another goal for the Golden Eagles in the 56th minute.

Both teams totaled 15 shots in the contest. Oral Roberts goalkeeper Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl registered 10 saves for the shutout.

Oral Roberts advances to play No. 3 seed South Dakota State in the Summit League championship game on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Dacotah Field.

North Dakota State claimed the Summit League regular season title for the second straight year after going 5-2-1 in league play.
