Jochim, Skime Clock NDSU Top 10 Times at Iowa State

AMES, Iowa – Sophomore Landon Jochim and senior Brendan Skime clocked personal-best times that rank among the North Dakota State all-time top 10 on Friday afternoon at the Iowa State Classic.
Jochim ran 21.89 in the 200m dash – the fastest time by a Bison since 2011. The Bismarck, N.D., native is now ranked sixth in NDSU history in the event.
Skime moved up to ninth in school history in the 3000m, finishing in 8:26.04 to trim more than three seconds off his previous best.
NDSU's Derek Warner clocked 14:45.80 in the 5000m, ranking him 11th in NDSU history in the event as only a redshirt freshman.
Jochim, Skime and Warner all rank second in The Summit League this season in their respective events.
The NDSU men will continue competition at the Iowa State Classic on Saturday, as well as hosting the Thundering Herd Classic in Fargo.
