Millrose Games Results

NEW YORK – North Dakota State senior Erin Teschuk ran the third-fastest mile time of her career to take 12th place in the prestigious Wanamaker Mile at the Millrose Games on Saturday afternoon.

Teschuk finished in 4:34.58 for 12th place in a meet that featured the American elite in mid-distance running. Shannon Rowbury, the American record holder at 1500m, won the race in 4:24.39.

Teschuk was the only athlete in the event who still has NCAA indoor eligibility. She is ranked fourth in the NCAA in the mile this season and finished fifth at the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2015 as a junior.

Teschuk's personal-best in the mile – also the NDSU school record – is 4:32.35, run in the NCAA finals last season.
