North Dakota State’s Drew Fearing and Taylor Sanders Named All-Summit League

Complete 2016 All-Summit League Baseball Team

ELMHURST, Ill. – Two North Dakota State University baseball student-athletes received All-Summit League honors, the league office announced on Tuesday, May 24.

Sophomore infielder Drew Fearing was named to the All-Summit League First Team at second base, while senior designated hitter Taylor Sanders was tabbed second team all-league.

Fearing, a native of Osakis, Minn., earned all-league honors for the first time in his NDSU career after leading the Bison in batting average (.327), runs scored (41), hits (64), doubles (10), stolen bases (18) and hit by pitch (12) during the 2016 season.

A native of Lake Oswego, Ore., Sanders garnered all-league accolades for the first time as a Bison after tallying a .290 batting average with 42 hits, five doubles, one home run, 18 RBIs and three sacrifice flies in 2016.
