CEDAR FALLS, Iowa— Lindsey Schulz had a match-high 11 kills and hit .588 as host University of Northern Iowa defeated North Dakota State University 3-0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-18) in the final match of the UNI Tournament on Sunday, Sept. 18, before 1,785 spectators in the McLeod Center.

NDSU (2-11) is scheduled to open the Summit League scheduled against Oral Roberts University (7-6) at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse. ORU hosts Arkansas on Tuesday.

Bri Weber had 10 kills for the Panthers (9-5), who hit .298 collectively compared to .111 for the Bison. Led by Kayla Haneline's match-high six blocks UNI compiled eight team overall. Heather Hook finished with 32 assists, eight digs and four blocks, while Kendyl Sorge tied NDSU's
Mikaela Purnell with a match-high 18 digs.

Hadley Steffen paced North Dakota State with 10 kills, while
Emily Minnick and
Emily Miron each added seven. The Bison had seven team blocks as
Brianna Rasmusson,
Jessica Jorgensen and Minnick came up with three apiece. Rasmusson also contributed 24 assists and 10 digs.

Minnick was named to the all-tournament team after hitting .351 (31-5-74) with 31 kills, seven blocks and three digs over 10 sets played.
