VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes drilled 16 three-pointers to help them roll to an 80-48 victory over the North Dakota State University women's basketball team in front of 1,809 spectators Thursday, Jan. 26, inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
With the loss, the Bison fall to 5-16 overall and 3-5 in Summit League play, while South Dakota improves to 18-3 on the season and 7-1 in league action.

Taylor Thunstedt scored 16 points on 6-of-18 shooting from the field to lead North Dakota State, while senior
Brianna Jones pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
The Bison shot 37 percent from the field and 30 percent from three-point range in the contest.
Jaycee Bradley netted a game-high 23 points and converted five three-pointers to lead the Coyotes, while Abigail Fogg snagged 10 boards. Ciara Duffy added 18 points and made six shots from beyond-the-arc.
The Yotes shot 45 percent from the floor and 47 percent from long range, and outrebounded NDSU 35-28. South Dakota also outscored North Dakota State in the paint, 20-12, and 19-6 in points off turnovers.
NDSU hosts Oral Roberts Saturday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. inside the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex in the annual Play4Kay Pink Game.
