GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Chelsea Herndon went 3-for-3 with a home run, double and five runs batted in to lead No. 2-ranked University of Florida to a 13-0 win over North Dakota State on Wednesday, March 15, at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.

NDSU (10-15) is scheduled to play No. 4/5-ranked Auburn (22-3) in the first game of the USF Spring Classic in Tampa.

Florida (23-1) broke open the game with a 10-run fourth inning highlighted by Janell Wheaton's grand slam and Herndon's three-run home run. Wheaton finished 3-for-4 with five RBI. The Gators had 13 hits overall.

KK Leddy pitched for NDSU with Sertic recording the loss.
