TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles completed a three-game series sweep of the North Dakota State University baseball team with an 8-2 victory over the Bison Sunday, March 19, at J.L. Johnson Stadium in Tulsa.
NDSU dips to 7-13 overall and 0-3 in league play with the loss while ORU improves to 12-7 on the season and 3-0 in league action.
Redshirt junior
Logan Busch went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs to lead North Dakota State offensively. Senior
Ben Petersen added a pair of hits and scored a run, respectively.
Sophomore right-hander
Jordan Harms (0-4) suffered the loss on the mound for the Bison after giving up four runs – two earned – on three hits with two strikeouts and three walks in three innings of work.
Dylan Snypes went a perfect 4-of-4 at the plate with three RBIs and a run scored to pace Oral Roberts in the batter's box.
Miguel Ausua (3-2) earned the win for ORU after allowing no earned runs on four hits with five strikeouts and three walks in seven innings pitched.
North Dakota State is slated to return to action Friday, March 24, at Western Illinois.
