SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State University women's basketball team fell to IUPUI, 69-56, in the quarterfinals of The Summit League Women's Basketball Championship on Saturday, March 4, in front of 3,297 spectators at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
With the loss, the Bison conclude the 2016-17 season with an overall record of 6-24, while IUPUI advances to a semifinal game on Monday against the winner of the South Dakota State and Oral Roberts quarterfinal contest.

Sarah Jacobson snagged seven rebounds, pacing the Bison on the glass.
For the game, NDSU shot 47 percent from the field but made only three three-pointers out of 13 attempts for 23 percent.
The Bison outrebounded the Jaguars, 28-26, but turned the ball over 17 times, which resulted in 26 IUPUI points.
Junior guard Danielle Lawrence tallied a game-high 23 points on 50 percent shooting from the field, and senior center Mikale Rogers added 15 points and nine boards, leading the Jags.
IUPUI shot 45 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc in the game, and only committed 12 turnovers.
