FARGO, N.D. – Taliyah Flores came up with a match-high 38 digs in the back row, while Kayla Williams had a match-high 17 kills in the front as North Dakota defeated North Dakota State 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 12-25, 25-16) in a Summit League match played Friday, Oct. 12, before a crowd of 1,449 at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.

NDSU (5-14, 3-5 SL) is scheduled play at Denver on Friday, Oct. 19, and Omaha on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Flores helped UND (13-11, 5-3 SL) win the long rallies through-out the match. She reached 30+ kills for the fifth time this season. Jordan Vail had 13 kills and hit .367, and Maggie Smith added 12 kills and hit .391. Roosa Rautio collected 50 assists.

McKenzie Burke had 16 kills to lead a group of three Bison in double-figures and added 11 digs for her fourth double-double of the season and seventh in her career.
Allie Mauch followed with 15 kills, giving her 34 in two meetings.
Emily Halverson connected for a career-high 14 kills and hit .423.

Abbi Klos claimed 19 digs and led four NDSU players with double-figure digs.
Kalli Hegerle notched a double-double with 49 assists and 12 digs.

The BBF home crowd of 1,449 was the 10
th largest in school history. It was the third crowd over 1,000 spectators this season and 57
th in facility history.
