FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's soccer team held a 2-0 lead at halftime over Summit League preseason favorite Denver, but the Pioneers stormed back to claim a 3-2 overtime victory on Thursday night at Dacotah Field.

With NDSU leading 2-1 in the final minute of regulation, Denver freshman Camryn MacMillan knocked in a loose ball to tie the match at 2-2 with only 31 seconds remaining.

Junior Hannah Adler scored the game-winner for Denver nine minutes into overtime.

The Bison fell to 5-5 overall and 2-1 in Summit League play. Denver moved into sole possession of first place in the league at 3-0.

Holly Enderle scored in the 30th minute and again in the 43rd minute to give NDSU a 2-0 advantage at halftime. Her first goal came on a corner kick sent in by
Roxy Roemer, and the second was a header on an assist from
Mallory Fenske.

Denver finished with a 21-13 advantage in total shots. Junior goalkeeper
Monica Polgar made eight saves for NDSU in the loss.
