ST. PAUL, Minn. – The University of Minnesota women's soccer team used three goals in a three-minute stretch in the second half to pull away for a 4-0 win over North Dakota State on Friday evening at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.

Senior forward April Bockin scored twice in the 54th minute for the Gophers, then junior defender Nikki Albrecht tacked on another Minnesota goal in the 56th minute off a corner kick.
"We'll go back and look at the goals and see how we can address them, but I'm very proud of my players," said NDSU head coach
Mike Regan. "I thought, from minute one to the 90th minute, we showed signs that we want to fight and we want to work extremely hard for each other."
"I've said all along, this team will grow over the season," Regan said. "If we take away the result, I think we can take a lot of positives out of tonight from individuals and as a group."
NDSU (1-3 overall) was out-shot 18-7 in the contest.
NDSU senior midfielder
