TULSA, Okla. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team closed Saturday's game at Oral Roberts on a 15-5 run, earning a 67-57 win over the Golden Eagles.
 
With the game tied 52-52 with five minutes remaining, the Bison scored seven straight points to go ahead 59-52. Vinnie Shahid and Rocky Kreuser combined to score 13 of NDSU's 15 in the final five minutes.
 
Shahid led all players with 23 points. Tyson Ward had 11 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Bison, and Kreuser added 11 points and six rebounds.
 
NDSU rebounded from 27-percent shooting in the first half to shoot 54 percent over the final 20 minutes. The Bison made 11-of-30 (37 percent) from beyond the arc.
 
NDSU led 27-24 at halftime and went ahead by eight points early in the second half. Oral Roberts came back to go up 40-35 with 12:30 remaining.
 
Kevin Obanor led Oral Roberts with 21 points and eight rebounds.
 
The Bison play next at Western Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 2.
