AZUSA, Calif. – Sophomore Tony Ukkelberg holds the top score among the five North Dakota State men's track & field athletes competing in the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Through five of the 10 events, Ukkelberg has 3,630 points. Bison seniors Ryan Enerson (3,535) and Daniel Asa (3,305) are next, followed by redshirt freshman Tyler Enerson with 3,262.

Ukkelberg (53.25), Ryan Enerson (50.55), and Asa (51.84) all ran personal-bests in the 400m dash to close out Day 1.

Asa is only three points behind his previous high score after five events, established at last year's Summit League Championships.

Along with the decathlon concluding Thursday, NDSU will also have athletes competing at the Mt. SAC Relays and the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate hosted by Long Beach State.
