Bison, Dukes to Meet in Friday Night Semifinal Game

FARGO, N.D. – No. 2 seed North Dakota State (12-1) will host third-seeded James Madison (12-1) in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Football Championship at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome. The game will be played before a national television audience on ESPN2.
 
Tickets for the national semifinal game will go on sale at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, online at GoBison.com/tickets. Season ticket holders have until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, to purchase their same seats for the game.
 
NDSU student tickets are $6 with a valid NDSU student account and may be purchased online at GoBison.com/students starting at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12.
 
Reserved tailgating spots go on sale at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, to current tailgate pass holders for $20 per spot. Purchases can be made in person at the Bison Ticket Office in the south lobby of the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, or by calling 701-231-6172 or 701-231-5990.
 
Unclaimed season tickets and unclaimed reserved tailgating passes for the semifinal game will go on sale to the general public at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15.

NDSU has won three of the previous four meetings with JMU, including the 2017 and 2019 national championship victories. The Dukes are the only team to win an FCS playoff game in the Fargodome - a 27-17 victory in the 2016 semifinals.
