FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University track & field program announced its meet schedule for the 2021 outdoor season on Tuesday, Mar. 16.

The Bison will open the outdoor schedule competing at Wichita State's Shocker Spring Invitational on Mar. 26-27, then follow up with a trip to the USD Early Bird in Vermillion, S.D., on Apr. 3.

On Apr. 8-10, NDSU will travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for the Tennessee Relays – a new stop on the outdoor slate. Also new this year is a trip to Lawrence, Kan., on May 1 for the Rock Chalk Classic.

The Summit League Outdoor Championships will take place May 13-15 in Vermillion, S.D.

The NCAA West Preliminary Rounds are in College Station, Texas, for the first time on May 27-29, with the NCAA Outdoor Championships returning to Eugene, Ore., on June 9-12 following the extensive renovation of Hayward Field.

NDSU has won 12 straight women's outdoor titles and 10 consecutive men's outdoor championships in The Summit League. The outdoor season was not contested in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
