FARGO, N.D. – Six different Bison reached double figures in scoring as the North Dakota State women's basketball team cruised past Jamestown, 112-59, on Thursday afternoon at Scheels Center.
Heaven Hamling led the way for NDSU (1-1) with a game-high 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 from beyond arc. She surpassed the 200-career three-point mark and has now totaled 202 in her NDSU career and ranks third on the all-time list.
Elle Evans also filled her stat line with 14 points, career-high six assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block.
As a team, the Bison shot 46.1 percent (35-76) from the field with all 13 players on the roster reaching the scoring column.

The Bison started fast opening up a double-digit lead in the first quarter, 15-5, after
Heaven Hamling drilled a three-pointer at the 2:22 mark. NDSU carried the energy into the second quarter assembling eight straight points to increase its advantage 30-12 following a pair of free throws from Massaquoi with 6:26 to play in the half. NDSU led at the intermission, 48-25.
The Bison started the third quarter on a 9-3 run to make the score 57-27 after
Heaven Hamling knocked down a three-pointer at the 7:54 mark. NDSU went on to close out the final two quarters shooting 55.9 percent from the field to secure the 112-59 win.
NDSU will be back in action at Minnesota on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
