Hake Tabbed Summit League Baseball Scholar of the Championship

FARGO, N.D. – Junior infielder Carson Hake has been named the Summit League Baseball Scholar of the Championship, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Hake boasts a 4.00 grade-point average in business and has appeared in 55 games with 21 starts over four seasons at NDSU.

The Scholar of the Championship award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League's 19 championships. Each institution that is participating in a Summit League championship is eligible to submit one nominee for the Scholar of the Championship award.

Second-seeded NDSU is back in action hosting third-seeded South Dakota State in the first round of the Summit League Championship tonight. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m., at Newman Outdoor Field.
