FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State soccer dropped a non-conference battle to Creighton 3-2 Sunday, Sept. 10, at Dacotah Field.
The Bison (3-3-2) jumped out to an early two-goal lead, but Creighton (1-2-4) immediately answered with a goal and then added two in the second half to complete the comeback.
Olivia Watson scored her team-leading third goal of the season in the fourth minute as she smashed in a rebound with a right footed shot just inside the right post to put NDSU ahead.
NDSU would double the lead in the 17
th minute as
Jess Hanley played a ball over the top to
Paige Goaley in the penalty area and Goaley flicked it with her right foot over Creighton goalkeeper Keelan Terrell for her first goal of the season. It was the second assist for Hanley in as many games from a similar position.
However, Creighton responded in the 20

Abby Wilkinson.
In the second half, Wilkinson made a key double save to keep NDSU in front, but minutes later the Bluejays would level on another defensive miscue that allowed Santana an open net for her second goal of the game.
Loretta Wacek would nearly put the Bison back in front in the 70

th minute.
Creighton would take the lead in the 84
