TULSA, Okla. – The North Dakota State women's basketball team saw its four-game win streak come to a close after falling short at Oral Roberts, 84-75, on Saturday afternoon at Mabee Center.
Elle Evans paced the Bison (10-8, 4-1 Summit) with a game-high 23 points to go along with three rounds and two assists.
Avery Koenen added in a season-high 14 points with four rebounds, four steals and three assists, while
Abby Graham chipped in 12 points with four rebounds.
After leading by three at halftime, 40-37, Oral Roberts (14-5, 5-1 Summit) started the third quarter on an 8-2 run to expand their edge to 48-39 following a layup from Ruthie Udoumoh at the 8:19 mark. The Bison fought their way back in fourth quarter to cut the edge down to six, 72-66, after Evans sank layup with 3:02 to play. However, NDSU couldn't close the gap any further and dropped the contest, 84-75.
NDSU will return home hosting St. Thomas on Thursday night. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m., at Scheels Center.
