CHENEY, Wash. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team lost 91-83 at Eastern Washington on Saturday afternoon, falling to 7-9 on the season.

Andrew Morgan finished with 13 points and six rebounds for NDSU, and
Damari Wheeler-Thomas added 13 points.

The Bison shot 52 percent for the game – including 12-of-23 (52 percent) from three-point range – but Eastern Washington shot 61 percent. Dane Erikstrup led the Eagles with 27 points.

EWU led 43-32 at halftime. The Eagles pushed their lead to its largest at 49-36 early in the second half, but NDSU put together a 10-0 run to pull within three at 49-46 with 16:00 remaining.

The Bison got within two at 68-66 with just under seven minutes left, but were unable to pull even or take the lead.

The Bison will play a pair of Summit League road games next, traveling to Kansas City on Jan. 11 and Omaha on Jan. 13 next week.
